In the last episode of season 1 of the Stack’n’Days podcast host Ray speaks to Charles Harrison Jr. Charles shares his experience of quitting alcohol before quite hitting rock bottom- although he did lose his marriage to his addiction, about why it is important for people to come to sobriety themselves, and how the support of the people around him was so important in his journey. 

Charles’ background

Charles is a 46-year-old postal employee who has been with the post office for 20 years.

He shares his passion for going to the gym and creating content for YouTube and Instagram, particularly related to sobriety and motivation.

Early relationship with alcohol

Charles recalls his first experiences with alcohol, starting with having sips of people’s beer as young as a toddler.
